Permits necessary to import perishable goods to Mexico
Before you can import perishable goods into Mexican territory, you must request approval from the relevant authorities. Before the goods arrive, these authorities will check to make sure that all of the paperwork is in order and that the required processes have taken place. Once you obtain permission, notify the authorities of the estimated date of arrival so that an inspection can be scheduled ahead of time, if one is necessary.
