WHAT IS CONTRACT LOGISTICS?

Contract logistics refers to a flexible outsourced services contract which can be tailored to suit the needs of each client. The particular stage of the supply chain where help is required is defined in the contract and the following points are established:

  • The services to be carried out.
  • The duration and frequency of the partnership.
  • The rates.
  • The contract conditions.

COLLECTION AT ORIGIN

We collect the goods from your warehouse.

CUSTOMS CLEARANCE AND CONSULTANCY AT SOURCE

One of our customs agents will advise you on the customs documentation, processes and procedures relevant to your project, as well as on any tax and customs advantages available.

SEA, AIR AND/OR LAND TRANSPORT TO DESTINATION

We ensure the best method of transport is used depending on the project and the product. We find the best solution, be it shipping, air freight and/or haulage, and give you the best price so that you can optimise costs.

CUSTOMS WAREHOUSE SERVICES

Our 43,000 m2 warehouses with capacity for 55,000 pallets safeguard and protect your products, offering security and restricted access 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Goods can be stored in our warehouses under various customs regimes, including customs warehouse, non-customs warehouse, temporary storage facility and bonded warehous.

ORDER PREPARATION

We offer a number of value-added services at our warehouses, such as:

  • Picking: selecting items and preparing orders.
  • Packing: packing goods.
  • Kitting: preparing packages with different products.
  • Tailored order-handling:customised handling.
  • Cross-docking: the goods come into the warehouse, they are positioned and then dispatched. They are not stored and do not become part of physical or computerised stock.
  • Inventory: stock monitoring and counting.

DISTRIBUTION

We plan the transportation of the end product up to the point of delivery at the distribution centre and/or to the end customer, paying particular attention to delivery times and cost optimisation. Distribution may be:

  • Capillary: goods leave the warehouse to be delivered to the end customer.
  • Export:goods that have been imported are stored for re-export.
  • Supply: we safeguard the goods of those clients who do not have storage space and we distribute them when required, this is known as self-distributing.

We have our own IT platform which means that our technical team can integrate your systems with ours.

  • The MyTIBA system created by our IT department gives you the tools to track the status of your goods and access all your shipment documentation at any time.
  • We offer a warehouse and transport management system that can be integrated with your systems for orders, inventories, stock control, batch control, etc. as well as customisable web-based access to Stock TIBA which allows you to check the supervision and management of your stock in our warehouses in real time.

  • A SPECIALIST INDUSTRIAL PACKAGING COMPANY
    We partner the leading firm in the Spanish industry that offers innovative, high quality, cost-effective pallet-wrapping solutions. We have been offering an integrated logistics service both for their consumables (stretch film) as well for their machinery for almost a decade. We provide reverse logistics for this company, which has space reserved in our warehouses for repairing machinery as well as for storing spare parts in a modular vertical warehouse. The firm distributes across Spain and Europe from our three centres in Barcelona, Madrid and Valencia. Parts of our warehouses are adapted to offer customised solutions for storing the company’s machinery and for managing their stock prior to sale.
  • A CLIENT IN THE DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL EQUIPMENT INDUSTRY
    In Madrid we have a compartmentalised warehouse which is specially adapted, in accordance with health regulations, to store this precision equipment and its component parts. The warehouse complies with strict hygiene regulations and includes a “cleanroom” to clean this type of equipment. We manage imports of equipment from various parts of the world as well as the logistics of distributing it across Spain. Our warehouse staff are specifically trained to carry out this service.
  • COMPANY SPECIALIZED IN OFFERING RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL AND APPLIED AIR CONDITIONING SERVICES.
    Logistical operations were applied to improve the supply chain in Merida, Yucatan, where more than half of households, corporate buildings and real assets make use of air conditioning equipment due to the high temperatures. We took charge of the operations from the distribution center, when receiving, storing and managing the inventory of products imported from Asia and the United States, to make the correct shipment to end users and distribution channels in regions of Campeche, Tabasco, Chetumal, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Veracruz and Yucatan.
